by the glass and the bottle
Twenty-four wines from eight countries, chosen to drink with the food rather than to fill a page. Most are open by the glass — from $12 — so a table can order across the list instead of committing to one bottle.
France leads: Burgundy from Louis Jadot, Chablis from Albert Bichot, a Loire Sancerre rosé, Bordeaux, and Champagne from Barons de Rothschild. Then Italy — Tuscany, Veneto, a Rosso di Montalcino from Banfi and an Etna Rosso from Planeta — plus Spain, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and California.
Seventeen of the twenty-four pour by the glass, starting at $12 for the Prosecco, the Pinot Grigio and the Bordeaux. It's the reason the list is built the way it is: you can drink a Sancerre with the first course and a Burgundy with the second.
The bartenders know what's drinking well right now and what sits beside the branzino, the Wagyu cheeks or the tartare. Tell them what you've ordered — it's a shorter conversation than reading the whole list.
